Giving Tuesday!

November 18, 2021

Thank you for being a part of our Vancouver International Children’s Festival community!

November 30th is Giving Tuesday! After Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday is an international day of philanthropy.

Help us start a wave of giving!

Now more than ever, there is an incredible need to experience the joy of the arts.

We invite you to join us in celebrating #GivingTuesday by making your tax-deductible donation to the Vancouver International Children’s Festival’s Adopt a Class Program (Tax receipts provided for every $20.00).

Over the past 2 years, despite of COVID -19, we successfully presented two virtual festivals.

The Adopt a Class program is an integral part of the Vancouver International Children’s Festival’s Community Outreach Programs and enables us to ensure accessibility to our cultural programming for all children regardless of social or economic circumstances.

This program provides featured performance tickets, return bus transportation and all-day access to our hands-on arts activities for in enhanced support schools across Metro Vancouver that would otherwise be unable to attend the Festival.

During COVID times we will be compliant with BC Public Health Authority guidelines. If we can not have a live festival we will provide more tickets to schools for online shows and some of the bus money will be used to cover the costs of technical support for the schools.

This year our virtual Festival was attended by 1,626 children through our Adopt a Class Program.

Please help us to give even more children the opportunities to experience the joy of the arts by donating to our 2022 Adopt a Class Program.

You also can donate securities or mutual funds!

On behalf of children throughout Metro Vancouver, we are grateful for the time you have taken to consider providing your charitable donation to our community program.

Your gift will help make more memories that will last forever for children in our community.
