You’ll be blown away!

You won’t want to sit down for this high-energy dance show that transforms the everyday bench into a stage for humour, honesty, and breathtaking physicality. In BENCHED, five fearless dancers push the limits of movement, exploring what it means to take space, share space, and sometimes fall right off the edge.

With playful choreography, bold athleticism, and a spark of mischievous fun, BENCHED invites audiences to laugh, reflect, and marvel at the sheer joy of bodies in motion. This is dance at its most daring, dynamic, and delightfully unexpected. Watch the video below.

Rave Reviews

It’s hard not to get carried away from start to finish.

Michael Svennevig, Desert Dreams

BENCHED exudes energy, and by the end you’ll be fighting to stay seated as the infectious physicality of the five dancers spreads to the entire audience: Uppercut Dance Theater — at its most playful and light.

Michael Søby, CPH Culture

Superb dancers: supremely muscular and agile, totally fearless and disciplined at the same time. (…) It is these five dancers from Uppercut Dance Theater who manage to turn the performance BENCHED into an eminent dance experience at international level.
