For many families, a day at the Children’s Festival is not possible due to financial constraint.

Our Good Neighbour Program helps donors share the magic of the festival with children and parents who otherwise would not be able to attend. Each year with our community program the Festival distributes performance tickets at no cost to low income families across Metro Vancouver.

Arts and culture are an important and meaningful part of life and an integral piece of the unique tapestry that makes Vancouver so vibrant. With our community program, your generous gift will ensure that children from all economic backgrounds in our community experience the enriching performances and activities that only our Festival can offer. Year after year, Good Neighbours ticket recipients are awed and inspired by professional artists from around the world and get to engage in their own arts practice through hands-on arts and cultural activities.

Many of our recipient families are refugees from war-torn countries – families who have seen much destruction and felt much heartache. With our community program, you can give them something to smile and laugh about.

Thank you so much for making it possible for my children and me to attend the Children’s Festival when we would have otherwise not been able to. It is such a great venue and such a fun time. We really appreciate your efforts to make this possible for us.
