Where to park at the 2013 Kids’ Fest

Recommended off-island parking

Parking is available all week by donation in the lot directly under the Burrard Street Bridge thanks to the generous support of the Squamish Nation. Simply enter at the foot of Fir St. at West 1st
Avenue. Be aware that it’s a scenic 20-minute kids’ pace walk along the seawall from the parking lot to Granville Island so make sure you arrive at least 45 minutes before your show to allow enough
time to get to your performance.

On-island pay parking

There is also limited pay parking in the mid-section of Granville Island in the following lots denoted in orange. NB: The far right rectangle (lot 73) is earmarked for the SoundStage tent and
school bus parking during the Festival and won’t be available to the public.

By-donation bike parking

If you can swing it, cycling to the Festival is a delightful way to travel. The seawall is flat, pituresque and stretches for miles both east and west. Even better, we’ve got a designated bicycle
lock-up to keep your bike safe. The lockup will be located on the grass (far left on the map) between the Arts Umbrella and the False Creek Community Centre.
