Schools
Our diverse programming is an opportunity for students to gain new perspectives and experiences from which they can learn. Kids can see, hear, feel, think and imagine a better tomorrow.
Tree, a world in itself
A multi-sensory, interactive universe enveloped in soft light, music, and silence, where five characters continually adapt to meet the needs of their audience. It was created for Autistic children and adapted for children with intellectual disabilities and/or reduced mobility.

Our 2024 children’s Festival will feature dazzling performances from artists far and wide. From local treasures to international gems, these captivating performers will put a smile on your child’s face and make you hoot with laughter.

As a non-profit organization, Vancouver International Children’s Festival uses private funding to subsidize ticket prices and ensure accessibility to our cultural programming for all children regardless of social or economic circumstance.

Opening Night
Join us for our Opening Night event! The evening begins with an Indigenous Welcome ceremony with Elder Statesman Xwechtaal Dennis Joseph of the Squamish Nation, an evening performance of Robot Song and complimentary refreshments afterwards.

Youth for Youth
The Vancouver International Children’s Festival Society’s Youth for Youth (Y4Y) program provides training, mentorship and performance opportunities for emerging artists. The program develops their artistic skills and allows them to create innovative and engaging work for presentation at the Festival. The artists work with Deborah Williams to develop their personal story and create a new theatre…
