Make Art

April 04, 2014

Make is a kid-friendly store on Granville Island, and they are hosting a free craft during the Children?s Festival.

Experience their 12 foot long bowling lane that they’ve converted into the Table of Creativity where they?ll be creating free Ojos de Dios, a fun and colourful craft that originated from the
Huichol tribe of Mexico. Weaving an Ojos de Dios is an ancient ritual celebrating the life of a child. Weave a new colour for each year of your age. Hang your Ojos de Dios in your window, room or
give it away to your pals.

Drop by the store to make a craft and say hello during the festival!

Make is open Monday to Saturday 9am-6pm and on Sundays 10am-6pm.
