Festival tips and tricks

Come mid-week

Weekdays are a great time to visit the Festival: more room to breathe, more tickets available and surprise guests. On Wednesday, May 30th, you could get a chance to play a little two-on-two with
Duh Hockey Guys . These stilting sensations come with their ?crooked? referee in tow to play spontaneous games of road hockey with the
young, unsuspecting hockey heroes of the future. ‚Ä®

Come for a show; stay for the day
Your show ticket includes access to all three children?s arts Activity Zones , change encounters with roving artists, and some of the
best emerging artists and youth performances on our World Youth Stage.

Find free parking

Free parking is available all week in the lot directly under the Burrard Street Bridge. Enter at the foot of Fir St. at West 1st Avenue. Thank you to the Squamish Nation for their generous support.
Note: It is a 20-minute kids’ pace walk from the parking lot to Granville Island, so make sure you arrive at least 45 minutes before your show to allow enough time to get to your performance.
