Looking for ways to occupy and maybe even stimulate your kids brains and creative muscles over the two-week March break? We’ve compiled a list of great arts camps and activities in the Lower Mainland.

ArtSpace Spring Break Arts Camp, Burnaby
March 9-13 & March 16-20 half-days, full days, ages 4,5 & 5-10

Arts Umbrella Spring Break Camps, Vancouver, Surrey
Vancouver: March 9-13 & March 16-20

A fun, art-fused learning experience. Through hands on theatre, dance, visual, media arts, professional programs and early learning classes, children and youth will be immersed in creative discovery and learning while they are free from their regular school work.

Shakespearean Rhapsody, Vancouver
Feb 28th -March 29th with 11 am and 2 pm matinees through the two week break, ages 3+
Bring the kids to a delightful Carousel Theatre performance -a magical introduction to Shakespeare’s plays. A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Tempest and Romeo and Juliet are introduced to young audiences via a troupe of players. An accessible, high energy romp complete with fairies, music and a whole lot of action!

CircusWest Camp, Vancouver & Burnaby
March 9-13 & March 16-20 ages 7-14 – half and full-day camps
A great place for kids to take their first steps in the wonderful world of circus, and a great opportunity for those already enrolled in CirKids (or dance or gymnastics programs) to improve their skills – and learn some new ones, too. Learn to juggle, ride a unicycle, jump on a trampoline or build human pyramids!

Dance Camps at the Matrix, New Westminster
March 9th – 20th , ages 6+
This high energy camp will focus on the musical The Little Mermaid. There will be singing, dancing and acting (15+ hours per week) going on throughout the two weeks with costumes, scenery and prop making, trips to the park and a showcase of what the participants have learned on the last day of camp.

Evergreen Cultural Centre Spring Break Festival, Coquitlam
March 9-13 & 16-20, ages 7-11 & 12-18
Explore new creative worlds with these informative and imaginative week-long programs. These popular camps for ages 6-11s include “Kids on Stage,” “The Worlds of the Space,” “The Worlds of Transformation” and “The Worlds of The Graphic Novel.”

Kids Market on Granville Island, Vancouver
March 9-20, preschoolers
Meet Rainbow the Dragon, engage in ceramics and sand art, make potato crafts and get the little one’s faces painted at the market.

Musical Theatre Camps at The Stage, New Westminster
March 9-13 & 16-20, full day, ages 6-9
Imagine a day filled with games, art activities, dance practice, and play rehearsals. This class is perfect for anyone wanting an introduction to performance. Beginners are welcome and there are no auditions.

North Vancouver Community Arts Council Art Camps
March 9-13 & 16-20, half-days (mornings and afternoons), ages 6-10
